in ecotourism, with global reports
suggesting two thirds of travellers
now prefer eco-friendly breaks or
seek low-impact accommodation.
Cefn Coed in Wales ticks many
of these boxes. The clue is in the
name, meaning ‘back of the woods’
in the native tongue.
And on a sunny morning in late
spring, the only thing piercing the
stunning silence is a Great Spotted
Woodpecker hammering at a tree.
